A very important battleground state in the next election, this is a state that will likely switch sides quite often going into the election. The intial projection was 'Weak GOP'.Meanwhile, Republican incumbant John Sununu is in serious trouble in his bid for a second term in the senate. A very strong candidate in Jeanne Shaheen, the former governor of the state, makes me believe that the Democrats have a great pickup oppurtunity.
In the house race, District 1 looks to be a good race, as Republicans attempt to regain the seat they lost in 2006.
There is also a governor race in 2008, but the Democrat should easily win the seat.
